Friday Morning December 17th

Josh had a slightly rocky night. His cranial
pressure was trending up a bit. With some
adjustments to his medication and equipment
he is resting calmly today with good readings.

Based on last night, the doctors have decided
to hold off on some of the procedures
they had planned on today, which they are
just fine with. No need to rush the process.
Mike, one of our favorite nurses here, is in
charge of Josh's care for today.

Thank you to everyone who put us up
in the hotel in Malvern and stocked the fridge. It gives a
close and private place to retreat for short periods,
to shower and change clothes. Thanks to Keith,
Brad and Jim Taylor for your help and support. Thank
you to everyone who has sent prayers, cards and well wishes
to Josh for a complete recovery. Josh has everyone
from you, to Buddhist Monks to Carmelite nuns
praying for his recovery.

We are keeping the home fires burning Josh.
We love you dearly and miss you terribly.

Mike, Darling and Rose

  1. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family and especially Josh.

  2. Thank you for this update on Josh. I can't help but wonder...what do the experts there think about playing his favorite music for him, or the voices of his closest friends?

What else (besides thoughts & prayers) can we do for you guys? Please just say the word(s)!

  3. Anybody who has met Josh will say that he is an immensely strong willed and amazing individual. Every single person out there is rooting for him, myself included.

  4. Our thoughts and prayers are with Josh, you and your family. We pray everything goes well in his recovery. -Steve, Jess and Sam Lienert

  5. We are friends of Mike & Elaine and just heard about the accident. Please know that we (Dick & Jane) will be praying for Josh often, that he may recover and lead a healthy and God pleasing life....God Bless!

  6. Dear Mike and Darling,
I heard about the accident from Don today. Children are a blessing and a gift from God. Loretta and I will be praying for Josh's speedy recovery.

God Bless You and the Family
    George & Loretta Lankford

  7. Hello Darling, Mike, and Rose,

I am just saying goodnight and good morning, whichever comes first.

    Love, Anna
